Obituary: Michael F. Quinn
Michael F. Quinn, a longtime resident of Montclair, died on Family. 24, 2018, at home surrounded by his married woman of 39 years, Kathy, his son, Michael Saint Paul and his chum, Kevin.
Mr. Quinn was given birth July 31, 1953 in Camden, to Cathryne and Trick Quinn. Atomic number 2 spent his childhood years growing awake in White Plains, NY, where he formed many lifelong friends. He was an outstanding signal caller at White Plains High School and was awarded a college scholarship.
He received his Artium Baccalaurens degree from the University of Delaware. During his tenure there, he switched sports, seemly captain of the Men's Lacrosse Team. They married on Aug. 4, 1979 after Michael completed his first year of law school.
Mr. Quinn earned his J.D. from Seton Hall School of Law, where He served on the Article Display panel of the Seton Hall Law Review (1980-1981). He garnered crown honors, graduating fourthly in his class in 1981. After completing a prestigious Federal Tourist court Clerkship, Mr. Quinn worn out his entire legal career at Gibbons P.C. in Newark. In his 35 years at the firm, he was instrumental in growing Gibbons into a powerhouse, one of New Jersey's most esteemed and largest firms. He served as lead counselling in many trials and complex litigation in state and federal courts and arbitrations in New Jersey and throughout the United States. In 2000, Gibbons appointed Mr. Quinn the healthy's general direction. Scott, brother-in-law Sean McCormack and his wife, Martha and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will follow held 12:45 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, at The Church of the Immaculate Conception, 30 Frederick North Fullerton Ave., Montclair. Arrangements provided by Hugh M. Moriarty Funeral Home.
